Understanding Length and Lie

Note the constantly changing position of the Conventional Golfer

The TLT Golfer remains Stable - for every club - reducing variation

Conventional Loft & Lie

As the club gets longer,
the golfer changes posture,
standing more erect.

True Length Technology TM

Loft & Lie are set to allow a
single athletic address posture for all clubs.

Golf clubs are not a 'One size does not fit all'
Length and lie fit together, in a geometric equation.
Properly fit clubs match your size and swing style
to a length and lie TLT Chart that fits you.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

I have developed this series of 12 slides (below) to help golfer's understand the importance of length and lie.

Slides 4,6,7,10 and 11 will show you what happens at ground level when a single athletic address position is maintained. In other words - all grips end at exactly the same hand position - putting all the deviation at the head.

So if the lie is designed correctly the head will sit 'square at impact'.If the lie is not designed correctly - the resultant head position will not be 'square at impact'.

This presentation will also help Clubmaker's develop a sound understanding of why True Length TechnologyTM is the only way they should be building clubs.

To enlarge the presentaion below slide the divider bar to the left with your mouse button.

This will reduce the left frame and increase the right frame.
